What we collect

When you send us your estimate, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number (if given), and the property address, along with the driveway area you traced, the project type, the price range you were shown, and any photos you added. When you call our number, the phone system records the calling number, the time, and the length of the call.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

How the cost estimator works

The driveway cost estimator is provided by PaveSnap, a service provider that runs it for us. As you use it:

  • The address you type is sent to Esri’s address lookup service to find the property, and the satellite map is loaded from Esri.
  • If you add photos of your driveway, they are sent to an AI image-analysis service (Anthropic) to assess the surface’s condition. They’re used to refine your estimate.
  • The outline you trace and the price range are worked out as you go. Nothing is sent to us until you choose to send your estimate.

When you send it, PaveSnap stores the request on our behalf and emails you a copy of your estimate.

How we use and share it

We share your request, including any photos, with an independent local paving contractor who serves your area, so they can contact you about your project. That’s the purpose of sending your estimate, and you agree to it when you send it. Calls to our number are forwarded to that contractor.

We also use your information to operate and improve the site and to keep records of requests. We don’t sell your information to data brokers, and we don’t share it with anyone else except service providers that help us run the site (such as hosting, the estimator, email, and phone services), or when required by law.

Contact by phone, text, or email

By sending your estimate, you agree that Scranton Paving and the contractor we share it with may contact you by phone, text, or email about your project. Consent isn’t a condition of any purchase. You can ask to stop being contacted at any time — reply STOP to a text, or tell the caller.

How long we keep it

We keep requests for as long as needed to handle them and keep business records, and then delete them.

Your choices

To ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, reply to the estimate email we sent you.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. See also our terms of use.
